The Number is 2.
Yesterday I had a sonogram to check out the size of our little Lily. Little..she is not. She is already estimated to weigh 7 lbs 3 oz. I'm still 3 1/2 weeks away from my due date. Dr. Spooner said that if I went 40 weeks, then I would be looking at a 9 plus pounder. Given my last delivery, that would be too big for me. Therefore, we set an induction date for the 5th or 6th (depending on availability in the hospital).
Then she checked to see if I am dilated. I was expecting to hear that I wouldn't be anything yet, but hoping for maybe a 1/2 centimeter. Nope.........2. I'm dilated to a 2! That is what I was when I went into the hospital with Bella. Dr. Spooner said that I would hopefully make it to my appointment next week, but probably not much after that. Needless to say, Lily is on her way and we can't wait!

Funny Sayings from Isabella
All the time Bella is saying the funniest things. We have no idea where most of them come from, but here are a few we think are hysterical. (Granted...they are also better when said in the moment)
Funny #1: We picked Gracie up from the vet. She had to have surgery on her ear. She was wearing a big white plastic collar around her neck. When she jumped in the backseat with Bella this is what she said, " Gracie, you look like Snow White!"
Funny #2: Isabella likes to put bubbles, icing, or anything on her upper lip and call it her mustache. However, it comes out more like this, " Look at my mush-mash!"
Funny #3: The other day we were out running errands. After leaving the mall, which the girl loves, we drove by an Applebee's. Isabella pointed out the window and said, "Mommy, let's go to the apple store!" (She has never been there in her life.)
Funny #4: Often times Bella says to us, " You guys crack me up!" (yes, she is only 2 1/2)

Happy Valentine's Day
To celebrate Valentine's Day Greg, Bella, and I had a date on Friday night. We went to TGIF and had dinner. We did a little window shopping at Old Navy, and bought some books at Barnes & Noble. It was a really fun night. On Saturday, I made dinner, and Greg and Bella made some chocolate covered strawberries. Yum! We had dinner by candlelight, which Isabella thought was very cool.

Happy Shower Day!
My great friends Allison, Carrie and Laura were kind enough to throw a baby shower for me. The shower was at Allison's beautiful house. Everything was decorated in pink and green...and of course Lilies! Lots of wonderful friends were there. I got everything from diapers to a swing. We are now ready for our little Lily to come!

Allison, Me, Carrie, and Laura...we are all pregnant girls. Allison due in August, Carrie due in July, Laura and I are both due in March.

Even Grandma and Grammy were there! Aren't they so cute!!
Of course, we couldn't leave out princess Isabella. She was so excited for the "baby party" (as she called it). She even walked away with a couple of presents.

Our picnic at the park
The weather was gorgeous today in Dallas! We had promised Bella a picnic at the park. We loaded up the cooler with food, a blanket, and soccer ball. We live off an awesome path that leads right to the park.

Coming from a soccer playing family, we have high hopes for our little girl. However, it seems that she prefers to sit on the ball rather than kick it.
What do you do when your toddler needs to go to the bathroom and there isn't one?

Manly Men
Lucky for us we live next to a greenbelt. Every year the guys cut down firewood for us to use. Although the weather in Texas isn't exactly cold, we jump at the chance to have a fire in the fireplace.

Isabella and Ethan worked hard at playing while the men pretended to be lumberjacks.

Updates and more...
Surprise to all you bloggers out there! I finally updated my blog. I know you are saying it is about time and I agree. But, when you work full time, have a 2 1/2 year old, and are pregnant something has to give. Actually, the real reason I don't blog is because I absolutely hate it. I think I have tried to post this message twice and both times it has been screwed up. Don't get me wrong, I love reading everyone else's blogs. Maybe when baby Lily comes along I will have more time and more interesting things to blog about. As for now, I thought I would update you on the latest in the Franks family.
Christmas: Christmas was wonderful! Greg's parents and my mom came down for a visit. My dad and brother are out of the country and Greg's brother lives in Canada. We missed them very much. We did all the usual Christmas things...went to church, looked at Christmas lights, opened tons of presents, and ate lots of food. Good times to be had by all. Isabella really enjoyed Christmas this year. She had so many presents that she got tired of opening them. She was most excited about her new princess vanity and make-up Santa brought her. Greg did very well. He was very excited about all his new Polo stuff (thanks dad-he is following in your footsteps), his golf package, and his new OU jersey. I was very happy with all of my presents too. I received new make-up, a ton of Origins stuff, and much needed maternity clothes.
Pregnancy: I'm about 29 weeks and growing rather large. This baby is an eater and a mover unlike Isabella. I am constantly hungry, tired, and being punched and kicked from all kinds of angles. I'm not too terribly uncomfortable, but I think that time will be approaching when I go back to work. I have had some swelling in my ankles and feet which I didn't have before. I'm trying to stay off of them as much as possible. Doctor says everything looks good. We are starting to get ready to work on Lily's room in the next week. Greg has some painting to do, and I have some organizing to do.
Isabella: Aah, where has my baby gone? She is now the most independent little 2 1/2 year old I know. She wants to do everything herself, including going to the bathroom (which I dread), brushing her teeth, getting dressed, and even playing. The new found independence does have some advantages, but it seems so surreal that she is old enough to understand and say some of the things she does. She has now officially made the transition to her big girl room and doing great with that. She is so social and busy that it is hard to keep up with her. She always wants to go shopping, or ride her bike outside, or cook with mommy. All things I love!

A Bunch of Randomness
Since I don't have time to blog much, I thought I would post a few random pictures of the day and life of Isabella. Enjoy!
Our little princess has decided that her bath tub is on longer suitable. She insists upon taking a bath in our garden tub. Bubbles are a must.
